Hello and welcome to my newsletter

I’m Jordon, a food writer and recipe developer based in London, UK. My newsletter explores food culture, politics and history, sometimes as the precursor to a recipe for you to cook at home.

I spent almost 4 years working as a chef, travelling and cooking my way around restaurants in London, Italy and France before joining Mob Kitchen as a recipe developer. During my time there, I took everything I learned working in kitchens and channelled it into creating recipes revolving around accessible home cooking, giving people simple and clear methods that use mostly everyday ingredients to cook themselves good food. This is the same ethos that I bring to the recipes in this newsletter.
