To everything there is a season. Now is the time to fully experience the travel and the people. Later will come the savoring it again as you cook those experiences in your own kitchen and relive them as you translate into words for us. That’s for later. Enjoy your journey. ♥️
Looking forward to hearing all about it! So nice to hear your thoughts on socials, especially as that's where many know you from! You're welcome for the time taken to read your writing, your insights are a joyyyy
Met you in the Prince George on one of your brief days back in the UK during the middle of this trip - we were both reading Lonesome Traveller (I lost it that night after a few too many...). One thing I thought about the next day was wishing I'd mentioned how much I enjoyed your first few substacks and was looking forward to the next one!
Loved the ragu one and the history and geography of food! Onto the next one though
Your trip sounds amazing. Love the update and 100% with you on the social media front! It’s really freeing to walk away from. Yay for Substack and good clean connection!
Really loving wherever you put your content!. I’ve enjoyed following your travels on insta too. Doesn’t matter to most of us whether they’re pro looking videos we all just like buoy a bit of delicious vicarious travel. Keep it coming no matter how sporadic. We will all be here waiting !!
Like you when we travel, we are gathering material for future stories and have found it really difficult on past trips to combine this with a weekly publishing deadline. So when a couple of months ago, we were riding the rails in Northern Europe we took a two week hiatus and it was so liberating.
Here for the journey! So glad you’re taking all the experiences in. Take all the time you need. We are here for you!
❤️❤️❤️

That’s a great way to think about it ❤️

Apology accepted as long as you promise to share photos of your discoveries soooon …
Yes!! Promise :)
So glad I didn’t miss anything yet! Can’t wait to read and see what you’ve “cooked up”
What a great experience for you! Keeping the positive up front is good for all!
It’s the best way forward!
Sounds like you prioritized the right things. Got to have the mise en place ready before service, right?
Eat and drink till comatose. We are entitled to and expect nothing till you’ve arisen from this slumber. Go well.
Happy to have you back! Your writing is wonderful, very vivid & genuine. Can’t wait to read more.

We can completely relate, Jordon.

No apology necessary!
